Castlevania Chronicles is remake from the first Castlevania game. The original Castlevania game was on NES. This game is the first Castlevania, but now they remade it, and it looks way better. This is the first vampire hunter game they ever did. The original was on NES and been around since 1986. But the PSone version was around since 2001. I like that they updated the graphics. The graphics are still 2D, but it looks better than the 1986 version. There are only seven sages in this game, but it is much harder. The gameplay runs like the original game. They are not a direct port of the game but fill in the gaps and make them come alive for us in ways that we would not normal be able to do just playing the game. This film is almost real with the details that they added to the film and with the movement and expressions on the characters in the film. I would call this a must see film just for that fact alone, though there is more to the film then just well done character models. It has tons of action as well. There are many variations on restaurant-style dash games out there, but this has to be one of the most fun variations on a theme I have run across so far.
